• Voice input data: when you hold the microphone button, audio is used for speech recognition.
• Text data: typed text and recognized text are sent to translation services to return results.
• Language metadata: source and target language selections used to complete translation.
• Technical diagnostics: limited logs such as error codes and latency for reliability and troubleshooting.

3. Permissions

The App may request microphone and speech-recognition permissions. If denied, voice-related features may not work.

4. Purpose of Processing

We process data only to provide speech-to-text, translation, text-to-speech, app stability, and security.

5. Data Sharing

We share data only when necessary to deliver features, including Apple speech capabilities and ChainBox translation infrastructure. We do not sell personal information.

6. Data Retention

ChainBox does not permanently store raw voice recordings. Translation-related data may be retained for a limited period for operation, security, and legal compliance.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data in transit and at rest.

8. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
