2. What the App Does
PDF Tools Pro provides core PDF workflows, including:
- Importing and organizing PDF files
- Viewing and annotating documents
- Reordering, rotating, extracting, merging, and splitting pages
- Converting PDF pages to images
- Encrypting and decrypting PDF files
- Scanning paper documents and running OCR
3. Information We Process
- Document and Image Data: Files you open or create are processed on-device to provide editing, conversion, and scanning features.
- OCR Text Data: Text recognized from scans is generated on-device and remains under your control.
- Permission Metadata: Camera and photo-library permission states are used to enable related features.
- Technical Diagnostics: We may process limited technical data (for example, error type and request timing) to improve stability.

The App may request:

We do not sell personal information.
We share data only when necessary to provide features, such as:
- Apple system services you invoke (for example, share sheets, printing, photo access)
- Infrastructure required for limited service operations (for example, legal-document retrieval)
7. Data Retention
- Your documents are primarily stored locally or in locations you choose.
- Temporary processing files may be created and later removed by the system or App cleanup.
- ChainBox does not upload your document contents to our servers for ordinary PDF processing.
8. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data. No transmission or storage method is absolutely secure.
9. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International Transfers
Depending on your region and service infrastructure, limited technical data may be processed outside your country/region.
