This Privacy Policy explains how ChainBox ("we", "our", or "us") processes information when you use LocalBeats ("the App").

2. Information We Process

• Media import data: file names, file formats, file size, duration, and timestamps for audio files you import.
• Playback and library data: play count, last played state, local media list, and local sorting preferences.
• App preference data: language setting (app_language), delete-confirmation preference, and related local settings.
• LAN import session data: local network address, upload progress, and upload status when you use Wi-Fi import on the same LAN.
• Limited diagnostics: basic technical error and status signals used to keep the App stable and secure.

3. Permissions and Device Capabilities

The App may request:

• Local network permission (for Wi-Fi LAN import);
• File access through the iOS document picker (for local file import);
• Background audio capability (for playback while the App is in background).

The current core features do not require account sign-in, camera, microphone, location, or contacts.

4. How We Use Information

We process information only to:

• provide local audio import, playback, and media management features;
• provide Wi-Fi LAN import between devices on the same local network;
• remember your local settings and language preference;
• maintain reliability, security, and troubleshooting.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

The App is designed for local-first media management. Imported audio files and playback history are stored on your device. During LAN import, transfer occurs between your browser and your iPhone on the same local network.

If a tracking authorization prompt is presented in future versions, tracking occurs only after your explicit consent under Apple App Tracking Transparency requirements.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

• Imported media and related metadata remain on your device until you delete them.
• You can delete items from the media list in the App.
• Uninstalling the App removes app-local data unless retained by iOS backup settings.

7. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy based on product or compliance changes. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
